If you were to die today are you 100% sure that you would go to Heaven?

This is the most important question that anyone will ever ask you. The answer to this question depends on what you do with Jesus. You will either choose to receive Him as your Lord and Savior or reject Him. There would be nothing better than to lay your head on your pillow tonight in complete assurance that your eternity is settled with Jesus in Heaven! None of us are promised tomorrow on this earth nor are we promised another opportunity to hear the gospel and to get saved. Please take the time to read this simple plan of salvation from the Bible.

"...behold, now is the accepted time: behold, now is the day of salvation.)" II Corinthians 6:2

No matter who you are or what you've done, God still loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you.

"For God so loved the world..." John 3:16

We are all sinners by nature. Our sin is a result of who we are. Anything short of complete perfection is sin. God said even the things that we consider good works or "righteousnesses" are as filthy rags in His sight. Many times we like to compare ourselves with others to make ourselves look better, but we must not compare ourselves to other men but to God. When we compare ourselves to God, we always fall short.

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one" Romans 3:10

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

The bad news is that God cannot let you into Heaven without the price for your sin being paid for. The penalty for your sin is eternal death in a real place called Hell. The Bible describes Hell as a literal lake of fire where the unsaved will experience torment for all of eternity. The worst part about Hell is the fact that you will know that you are eternally separated from God.

"For the wages of sin is death;..." Romans 6:23

"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:14-15

The good news is that you don't have to pay the price for your sin! You already know that God loves you, but how much does he love you? God loves you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to pay sin's penalty for you. He didn't just say "I love you". He proved it! When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the penalty for the sins of the world once and for all. Jesus' death satisfied the requirements of eternal life because He is the sinless Son of God, but He didn't stay dead. He rose again the third day and is alive today! His resurrection makes it possible for us to have a relationship with Him that includes a home in Heaven when we die.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

God has purchased the gift of eternal life with His own blood, but you must receive it before it is yours. God will not force you to receive His free gift and no one can receive it for you. You don't have to clean up your life before you come to God, but you must be willing to confess and turn away from your sins and believe by faith that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again for you. God promises that if you come to Him through Jesus, He will save you.

"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

Call on God to save you right now by praying this simple prayer.

You don't have to say these exact words because it is not the words that save you, but it is putting your faith in Jesus Christ. Just genuinely ask God to save you and He will.

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, but I ask you to forgive me for my sins. Please come into my heart and take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. Amen.
